YourGPT review: what it does after the demo
A practitioner review of YourGPT — what the agent platform actually is, what the plans cost, where it fails, and when we would not install it.

YourGPT is a no-code agent platform for support, sales, and operations. They sell it as self-learning, action-oriented, omnichannel, multilingual, and multi-agent. Their public claim is up to 90% resolution on repeated queries. It is the wrong buy when you already live inside Gorgias or Intercom, or when the help centre is still a pile of PDFs. Simplex builds and manages YourGPT agent projects. That is a disclosure.
Aurelia’s last widget could talk. It could not open a ticket. We covered that morning in chatbot vs AI agent. The next brief was not which logo to put on the site. It was: can this thing keep the knowledge, take an allowed action, and leave a record a person can trust.
We took that brief to YourGPT. This review is what that choice looks like after the demo — from their docs, their pricing page, and the agents we have actually launched.
A chatbot answers. An agent finishes the job. YourGPT is the second thing, if you set it up that way.
What is YourGPT?
YourGPT is a no-code AI agent platform for customer support, sales, and operations. Their own homepage line is the one we use in a first meeting: A chatbot answers. An agent finishes the job.
You connect sources — a sitemap, PDFs, Notion, Google Drive, Confluence, YouTube, a help centre — and the agent answers from that memory. You can then give it functions: create a ticket, call an API, update a record, book a slot. AI Studio is the visual layer for guided flows. The Copilot Builder is the product-level layer, when the agent has to act inside an application, not only in a widget.
You deploy once and send the same agent to a website widget, WhatsApp, Instagram, Telegram, Slack, Messenger, phone, and a handful of helpdesks. They claim 100+ languages and a 7-day trial with no card. Those are on the public site. Treat the “resolve up to 90% of repeated queries” line as their claim. We do not put a percentage on a project until we have a month of tickets.
Their own platform walkthrough is three minutes. Watch that before you watch a sales deck.
Their homepage is blunt about what they want to be: a trusted, AI-first agent platform. They say they are trusted by 10,000+ teams. They sell self-learning, action-oriented, omnichannel, multilingual, multi-agent systems. That is the pitch. Here is what those words mean after install.
The claim
Trusted, AI-first — up to 90% on repeated queries
YourGPT sells itself as an AI-first agent platform, not a chat widget. The 90% line is theirs, and it is always “repeated” queries. Unique, angry, contractual, and medical threads will not be in that number. We review an agent against its own tickets, not against a homepage.
Self-learning
It learns from a clean help centre
The agent gets sharper when the knowledge is clean and you reindex. It does not invent a good help centre. A document that was wrong on Tuesday is still wrong on Wednesday until someone updates it.
Action-oriented
It finishes the job
Functions open a ticket, call an API, write a record, book a slot. Without them, YourGPT is a chatbot with your docs. With them, it can take the action and leave a record.
Omnichannel
One agent, many channels
Train once. Put it on the site, WhatsApp, Instagram, Telegram, Slack, Messenger, and voice. Teams that already split the widget from the inbox will feel this in a week.
Multilingual
100+ languages, on their site
They say the agent detects the customer’s language and answers in it. Useful when the inbox is not English-only. Still only as true as the sources you gave it.
Multi-agent
Separate agents, not one catch-all bot
Plans allow 2, 5, or 10 agents. Support, sales, and operations can be separate agents with a handoff between them. That is the multi-agent system they mean — not one bot that pretends to be the company.
The useful question is not “is it an agent.” The useful question is: can it refuse a refund, file the case, and stop talking.
What does a YourGPT agent actually do?
Four layers. If any one is missing, you have bought a nicer FAQ.
Memory. Website, documents, Notion, Drive, Dropbox, Confluence, YouTube, FAQs, past helpdesk articles. Formats they list: CSV, TXT, PDF, DOCX, PPTX, MD. Training is usually minutes, not days. Reindex is not automatic by default. Their pricing FAQ is blunt: you click ReIndex, or you set a schedule. A help centre that moved last Tuesday and was never reindexed will answer last Tuesday. We wrote the longer version of that failure in The document was wrong.
Persona and guardrails. You name the agent, set the tone, and write what it must not do. This is the “never refund over X, never invent a tracking number, never give medical advice” list. If you skip it, the model will be helpful in the way a stranger is helpful.
Studio and functions. Studio is sequential logic: intents, events, entities, variables, listeners. Functions take the action — system functions, API functions, the call that opens Zendesk or writes HubSpot. Without functions, YourGPT is a chatbot with your docs. With them, and with n8n on the other side of a webhook, it can open the ticket and update the record. How that connects is in n8n vs Zapier vs Make.
They show the same idea on a calendar: the agent checks a slot and books it, instead of only describing availability.
Channels and handoff. Widget on the site. WhatsApp, Instagram, Telegram, Slack, Discord, Messenger, voice. Handoff to a human with the thread attached. Lead-capture forms if sales is the job. The widget can be restyled. Removing “Powered by YourGPT” is an Advanced-plan feature, not a Professional one.
They publish the Zendesk connection the same way: the agent answers from your pages, then opens the ticket.
On Aurelia the work was: live tickets first, then memory, then n8n to open the case and tag the product. YourGPT was the chat layer. n8n did the case work.
How much does YourGPT cost?
Figures below are from yourgpt.ai/pricing on 14 August 2026. Annual first, monthly in parentheses. Enterprise is a conversation.
| Plan | Annual / month | Monthly sticker | Agents | Pages / docs | Credits | What you actually buy |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Essential | $39 | $59 | 2 | 200 / 20 | 10M | Start. No Studio, no API. |
| Professional | $79 | $129 | 5 | 500 / 100 | 30M | Studio, functions, API, handoff, helpdesk, 5 seats |
| Advanced | $349 | $499 | 10 | 2,000 / 500 | 100M | Badge off, custom domain, roles, account manager |
| Enterprise | Custom | Custom | Custom | Custom | Custom | SSO, SLA, white-glove, custom retention |
There is no per-message overage. The meter is AI credits. Different models burn at different rates. Their FAQ still publishes the old multipliers — GPT-3.5 at 1×, GPT-4o at 5×, GPT-4 at 20× — as a way to think about the bill. Heavier models on every greeting will surprise you. They email at 50%, 70%, and 100% of the credit pack. When the pack is empty, you buy more. That is the cost-to-run, not the sticker.
Professional is the first plan we will put on a live inbox. Essential is a trial that cannot grow into Studio. Advanced is what you pay when the badge has to disappear and more than five people need seats.
Capterra lists a starting price around 49 dollars a month and notes that advanced workflows take time. A G2 reviewer, on their public cons list, said some plans feel high for a small team that needs Professional features but will not burn the credits. Both are fair. You are paying for the platform and a credit pool, not for a 99-cent resolution.
What is YourGPT good at?
One agent, many channels. Train once. Put it on the site, on WhatsApp, on Slack. Teams that already split the widget from the inbox from Instagram will feel the difference in a week.
You do not have to write code to open a ticket. Studio is there when the conversation has to be guided. Functions are there when it has to act.
Model choice. Their public FAQ lists OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Grok, DeepSeek, and others, and says you can switch. We care about this because a cheap model on a greeting and a stronger model on a refund is how you keep the credit pack honest.
Handoff that keeps the thread. The previous generation of widgets transferred the person and lost the last six turns. YourGPT’s job, if you set it, is to pass the transcript and the reason. That is the morning test from chatbot vs AI agent.
A security page you can send to IT. They publish SOC 2 Type II, GDPR, ISO 27001, no training on user data, data isolation, SSO on enterprise, and zero-day retention with model providers. We do not audit those certificates in this review. We send the page to the person who does.
Where does YourGPT fall short?
It will not clean your help centre. Point it at a contradictory sitemap and it will be fluent and wrong. Their own essay on why agents give wrong answers is direct: the model read the document; the document was wrong. If you wanted a product that forgives a dirty help centre, this is not it.
Reindex is work. Content that changed on the site does not reach the agent until someone clicks ReIndex or a schedule fires. For a store that edits shipping copy every afternoon, that is a process, not a feature.
The badge and the brand. Custom branding and the removal of “Powered by YourGPT” sit on Advanced. If the agent is part of the brand or a product surface, budget for that plan, or accept the badge.
It is not a Shopify-native inbox. Gorgias still wins when the job is WISMO, returns, and Loop against live inventory, and when the team already lives in that inbox. We scored that job in best AI agent builder for ecommerce. YourGPT wins when the brand is the surface and the store is one of several channels.
It is not Intercom Fin. Fin sells per resolution, inside Intercom. If your world is already Fin, moving to YourGPT is a platform change, not a plugin. Stay if the team already works in Intercom.
Credits punish heavy models. A team that turns GPT-class models on for every “where is the pricing page” will burn the pack and blame the vendor. The vendor published the multipliers. The setting is yours.
MFA and deep role design. One public G2 cons note called out weaker security extras like MFA, and a wish for more control over answers in specialised professions. Enterprise exists for SSO and custom roles. Do not assume Essential is an IT-ready box.
The 90% line. Their homepage says agents can resolve up to 90% of repeated queries. “Repeated” is doing the work in that sentence. Unique, angry, contractual, and medical threads will not be in that number. We review an agent against its own tickets, not against a homepage.
How does YourGPT compare with Intercom Fin, Zendesk, Botpress, Lyro, and n8n?
These five sit in the same shortlist. They are not the same job. Intercom Fin is Intercom’s support agent — not Fin.com, which is a different company.
A r/SaaS write-up in 2026 put YourGPT next to Zendesk and Intercom and described it as the one that executes a workflow, not only a reply. That is the right frame.
Resolution numbers below are vendor claims, except the independent Fin test. YourGPT’s 90% is repeated queries only. n8n has no resolution rate because it is not a support product.

YourGPT vs Intercom Fin
Fin is the right buy when the workspace is Intercom. It answers inside that messenger, it is priced per resolution, and the team already knows the inbox. Moving off Fin is a platform change, not a plugin.
YourGPT is the right buy when Intercom is not the product. You want the agent on the site and on WhatsApp, with your knowledge, your functions, and your brand on the widget. We stay on Fin if the team already works there.
YourGPT vs Zendesk AI
Zendesk AI sits on Zendesk tickets. If the support team lives in Zendesk, that is the path of least pain. Public write-ups put the AI add-on around 1.50 dollars per resolution on top of Suite seats. We have not audited Zendesk’s current price sheet; treat that figure as reported, then check their page.
YourGPT does not replace Zendesk as a ticket system. It can open a Zendesk ticket through a function, then hand the thread over. Buy YourGPT when the customer starts on the site or WhatsApp and Zendesk is the log, not the surface.
YourGPT vs Botpress
Botpress is a serious builder. Flows, state, integrations, a graph a developer can own. That is useful if you have that person.
YourGPT is the no-code side of the same job: knowledge, Studio, functions, channels. We pick Botpress when the conversation has to be engineered. We pick YourGPT when the agent has to be live on WhatsApp next month and a marketer has to own the memory.
YourGPT vs Lyro (Tidio)
Lyro is the storefront agent. It is fast, cheap to start, and Tidio publishes a 67% average resolution with a 50% guarantee on higher plans. For a Shopify shop that needs a bubble this week, that is often the honest answer.
YourGPT is the deeper desk: more channels, functions, Studio, a brand you can put on the widget (on Advanced), and a credit pack instead of a Tidio conversation quota. We put Lyro on a shop that only needs FAQs and order status. We put YourGPT on a brand that also has WhatsApp, a webhook, and a refuse list.
A third-party walkthrough of the YourGPT builder is here if you want to see the setup, not the homepage.
YourGPT vs n8n
This is not a support comparison. n8n moves records. YourGPT talks to people. On Aurelia YourGPT was the chat layer and n8n opened the case. That is the usual shape.
If the brief is “sync HubSpot, the ads account, and the board for 90 days,” buy n8n. If the brief is “answer, file, hand off,” buy YourGPT and connect n8n behind it. There is no resolution rate for n8n because there is no customer ticket. We wrote the longer note in n8n vs Zapier vs Make.
The comparison that wastes a month is YourGPT vs ChatGPT. ChatGPT is the research window. YourGPT is where the ticket gets filed. Buyers start in ChatGPT. They still have to land somewhere that can act.
Who should buy YourGPT?
A mid-market team with a real help centre, a channel besides the website, and someone who will own the memory. A studio that has to put the brand on the agent, not the vendor’s logo. A product that needs a copilot inside the app, not only a bubble in the corner.
Who should not: a founder who wants to paste a sitemap on Friday and disappear. A Shopify-only support team that already runs Gorgias well. A regulated clinic that needs a BAA and a legal review we have not put in this page. A team that will not read The document was wrong.
We install it under AI agents. We will not install it on a dirty help centre. That is the same rule as the rest of the studio.
The studio
If you need help, Simplex builds and manages YourGPT agent projects. Knowledge, Studio, functions, a connection to n8n, a written list of what the agent must never do, and a review after launch. We do not hand you a login and leave. You get an agent that can file, refuse, and hand off — and someone who stays on the project while the work is still new.
Send a week of tickets and the current help centre. We write back with what we would ingest, what the agent should never touch, and whether YourGPT belongs on that project. Start at contact.
How we would trial it in seven days
Their trial is seven days, no card. Use all of them.
- Pick one job. SSO loops. Order status. Booking. Not “everything.”
- Ingest only the pages that are true. Five articles, not the whole sitemap.
- Write what it must never do. Refunds, legal, anything you would not let a junior say.
- Add one function. Open a ticket. Write a CRM note. One.
- Put it on a staging URL, not production.
- Run last month’s real tickets against it. Score: answered, refused, handed off, invented.
- Read the credit burn. If a greeting costs too much, change the model before you change the vendor.
If day seven is still “it sounds nice,” do not pay. If day seven is a log of filed cases, pay Professional and keep the review monthly.
Frequently asked questions
Is YourGPT a chatbot or an agent platform?
It is an agent platform. A chatbot answers. An agent takes an allowed action and leaves a record. YourGPT can be either, depending on whether you connect functions and a handoff. Their homepage and docs both use “agent.” We do too.
How much does YourGPT cost per month?
On 14 August 2026, Essential is 39 dollars a month billed annually (59 monthly), Professional 79 (129), Advanced 349 (499). Enterprise is custom. There is no per-message fee. You burn a credit pack. Professional is the first plan with Studio, functions, and a human handoff.
Does YourGPT work on WhatsApp?
Yes. WhatsApp, Instagram, Telegram, Slack, Messenger, Discord, the website widget, and voice are on the public integration list, including the starter plans. The agent is trained once.
Can I remove the YourGPT badge?
Not on Essential or Professional. Removal of “Powered by YourGPT,” custom branding, and a custom domain are Advanced. Budget for that if the agent is part of the brand.
Will it update when my website changes?
Not by itself. You reindex from the dashboard, or you set a schedule. Their pricing FAQ says so. A store that edits copy daily needs that schedule on day one.
Is YourGPT good for Shopify?
It will sit on a Shopify store and answer from your catalog and pages. It will not replace Gorgias if the job is high-volume WISMO against live inventory. Use YourGPT when the store is one channel and the brand is the surface. We covered that job in the ecommerce builder note.
Is my data used to train their models?
They say no training on user data, plus SOC 2 Type II, GDPR, ISO 27001, and zero-day retention with providers. Send that page to whoever signs security. Do not take a blog post as an audit.
Is YourGPT better than Intercom Fin or Zendesk?
Not if the team already lives in that inbox. Fin is the Intercom agent. Zendesk AI is the Zendesk agent. YourGPT is the better buy when the customer starts on the site or WhatsApp and you want the brand on the agent, not another seat in a helpdesk you do not already run.
Is YourGPT an n8n or Lyro alternative?
No. n8n automates systems. It has no customer-support resolution rate. Lyro is Tidio’s storefront agent — fast, cheaper, good for FAQs and order status. YourGPT is the branded agent across web and WhatsApp, with functions. We connect n8n behind YourGPT. We do not pick one of the three and hope it covers the other two.
Should we build this ourselves or hire a studio?
If the centre is clean and the job is one FAQ, try the seven-day trial. If the job is a full agent — knowledge, tools, n8n, a page the agent can send a buyer to — hire the studio. We build and manage YourGPT agent projects from ingest to the monthly review.
Send a week of tickets and the current help centre to hello@simplexdigital.agency. We write back with what an agent should answer, what it should never touch, and whether YourGPT belongs on that project.

Why AI-generated websites look like each other — and how a directed site refuses
AI builders default to Inter, orbs, and three cards. Type pairing, one photograph, space, and a caption are how a directed site refuses the template.
